WCER Web Standards
Guidelines
Based on the University standards, all sites must include the following:
- UWMadison logo and link. The logo should be included on every page; at minimum, it should appear on a site's homepage. The logo should link to the UW-Madison home page (http://www.wisc.edu). If you choose not to adopt the logo in your design, you must at least reference affiliation with the University by including the words University of Wisconsin-Madison near the top of the page.
- WCER logo and link. The logo should be included on every page; at minimum, it should appear on a site's homepage. The logo should link to the WCER homepage (http://www.wcer.wisc.edu).
- Link to the School of Education. http://www.education.wisc.edu. This link should appear
somewhere on each page.
- Copyright information. Each page should include the following standard footer information: Copyright © 2007 The Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System
- Accessible design. All University web pages must be accessible to users with disabilities. Please familiarize yourself with the University's World Wide Web Accessibility Policy before designing your site. For additional information, see DoIT's Web Accessibility Resources page.
